Simetim is designed to keep your data under your control. We do not collect, store, or have access to any personal data. Everything you save stays on your device or in your own iCloud account.
If session logging is not enabled, no session data is saved.
If session logging is enabled, all saved sessions remain on your device and are solely under your control. We have no access to this data, and it is never shared with third parties.
If you enable both session logging and iCloud, your session data is also saved to your personal iCloud account. Only you have access to this data through your iCloud account and the app. We cannot read, access, or share this data.
If you grant permission, the app logs your meditation sessions to the Health app as Mindful Minutes (start time, end time, and duration).
Writing permission allows the app to save sessions to Health. Reading permission allows the app to update or delete previously logged sessions. You can grant or withdraw either permission at any time through the Health app.
We do not access or share any HealthKit data.
The app collects anonymous usage analytics through TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service based in the EU. This helps us understand how the app is used so we can prioritise improvements.
TelemetryDeck anonymises all data on your device before it is sent. No personal data — such as your name, email address, IP address, or device identifier — is ever collected or stored. The data cannot be used to identify you.
You can opt out of anonymous analytics at any time in the app's settings. Opting out stops all analytics transmissions.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data. Since we do not collect or store any personal data, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete. All your data is stored locally on your device or in your iCloud account and is fully under your control.
